The third stop on our four-city tour was Victoria. The ferry ride between Vancouver and Victoria was top-notch. We almost didn't make the ferry, as evidenced by the rear spot our trusty Buick Century occupied. The ferry itself was HUGE. Buses and tractor-trailers were easily swallowed by its cavernous interior.

While we were only in Victoria for a day, it was action-packed. While Craig did his best to socialize with locals, I did a ride-along with the ambulance service. With the help of a local, we got an up-close and personal tour of the city. Lynn Klein and I had known each other for years, and finally had the opportunity to meet in person.

When we departed Victoria, we took the Coho Ferry to Port Angeles, WA. While not as posh as the Spirit of Vancouver Island, this ride had the added benefit of a beautiful sunset over the water. Instead of being the last ones on the ferry, we were able to grab the first spot to assure our return to the US.
